We demoed this bike first time 07/08
season at Hoodo Ski Area (Hoodoo.com)
with some old and new friends. We were excited to get them in and demo
the to see what we would think. BTW-ask the rental shop at Hoodoo, they
have one!!!
The bike is designed as a downhill racer.
Its short stout skis hold their own on firm packed runs but watch out
for the lighting fast reaction on this bike. Its shorter stature lends
itself to being a very reactive bike with minimal effort or direction.
In fact we had to cut back signal strength by at least 1/2 power!! With
that said after a few runs, we really grew to like it as it handled well
and flys down the hill.
We are still fascinated by the unique
trim system on the front and rear ski. We have not been able to get real
good info on things you can do with it but we quickly realized its
allows you to set the trim of the ski up or down. Kinda neat to play
with. A great bike for novice to the expert
rider. The frame and skis are beefy enough to take a beating.
Ideal for the BMX park rider!!
We have several other models of this bike
on order-just waiting for shipment.
Rider suggestion from approx
5'10" or less up to 250lbs. Tall riders beware! Not a
friendly bike unless you ride in a very athletic (crouched) position.
